The story starts in a small village in central Bosnia in 1989, when Asad returns from school with the intent to marry his childhood love. Unaware of his son’s marriage plans, his father Agan arranges his son’s marriage with the father of a girl that Asad doesn’t even know. After his father’s sudden death, the entire village starts to remind Asad of his father’s behest and the dull village reality becomes lively, dynamically and comically revealing the characters and their individual stories.
